CIVIL ASSOCIATIONS
A civil association is an organization with legal personality under private law and non-profit, whose efforts pursue cultural, educational, sporting, informative or similar objectives. Its existence depends on the donations of its associate members, represented in a General Assembly.
In this sense, civil associations are governed by their own statutes (set out in writing in a constituent document) and are managed autonomously, although they are subject, like any other organization, to the provisions of the law.
